A 30" diameter replica in 120kgs of solid bronze of a 'double horizontal' dial made by Henry Wynne of London around 1683. Computer artwork by Dr. John Davis of Flowton Dials with research by Michael Lowne both of the British Sundial Society. All metalwork and machining by Lindisfarne Sundials over a three-year period. This is really two sundials and a moondial in one with solar time indicated by the sloped gnomon on the outer scale and the sun's azimuth and altitude indicated by the vertical edge and the central stereographic grid. The concentric circles form a moondial to show time at night.
